COSCO Shipping is the largest shipping service provider in China as well as the third biggest operators in the global shipping and logistics services industry. It also has the largest port operators worldwide. By participating COSCO’s private placement, The Company acquired 1.82% of its shares at an appropriate cost and became its top 10 shareholders. Through the equity investment in COSCO, a multimodal transport strategic cooperation can be formed between Eastern Airlines Logistics and COSCO. In addition, better investment return and liquidity of assets can be achieved for Eastern Airlines Industry Investment Company.
